Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325* degrees F. Grease and flour 2 layer cake pans or a 9x13 inch pan.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa, soda and salt.
- Cream together the sugar, mayonnaise, water and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture; stir until well blended. Pour batter into prepared cake pans. Bake for about 25 minutes.
- Let cool and frost with your favorite frosting.
*Stacie says: "I learned years ago, when I took a cake decorating course, that you should turn your oven down 25 degrees, to 325, if you don't want a big DOME in the middle of your cake. My cakes bake more evenly and level withOUT the use of any attachments to the pans while baking. ;)"
